My Epiphany
About 6 months ago, I had an epiphany – teach empowerment issues to each woman before she gets pregnant – then maybe she’ll be at a higher level of consciousness and be able to stand in her power.
It felt to me that the childbirth classes some women get in the last 3 months of their pregnancy, was, as they say, “too little/too late” - definitely not enough time for a woman to release decades of misinformation, dread and anxiety about pregnancy and birth.

To choose intelligently, powerfully, and confidently in all areas of their life resulting in the decision to choose natural birth.
WHY?

Choices can make us or break us. Because we live with the choices we make it is important to not only know that we have options, but to know what our options are, and to know that we have the power to choose for our own evolution. To me, the obvious progression of a lifestyle of empowered choices is natural birth. It’s a woman’s right. Her body, designed by nature, is appropriately designed for such a dawning. The choice to birth naturally is indeed intelligent, powerful and confident, creating more of the same in a woman’s life.

To choose intelligently, powerfully, and confidently in all areas of their life resulting in the decision to support women in their choices, especially that of natural birth.
WHY?

Notice that what I want for women is the same as what I want for men. Empowered choice works for everyone. Because men are instrumental in influencing women’s decisions, I feel it is important that they too are clear on their options as well as the effect they have on those around them, especially their women. The extra benefit of empowered choice and natural birth is a stress-free birth, a stress-free mother/child pair, and if looked at exponentially, a less stressful world.
