About 6 months ago, I had an epiphany – teach empowerment issues to each woman before she gets pregnant – then maybe she’ll be at a higher level of consciousness and be able to stand in her power.    

It felt to me that the childbirth classes some women get in the last 3 months of their pregnancy, was, as they say, “too little/too late” - definitely not enough time for a woman to release decades of misinformation, dread and anxiety about pregnancy and birth.

One day it will be my entire life that I look back on and I will ask myself the same question.   Of course, there would be progress, but would there be regret? … Regret for the things that I wanted to accomplish but did not? …Regret for allowing the seconds to pass me by, unacknowledged and unappreciated? As I sit here at my desk in my home office I am delighted to be able to share with you a part of my life.

But first, let’s play catch-up.  Up until a year ago, I was self employed for 15 years.  Last October, I returned to the world of full-time employment.   As a Parent Educator / Visiting Teacher,  I traveled to the homes of families with children under 2 years of age.  Each day was different as I got to play with babies and empower their parents.  It was, indeed, the ideal work experience, however, as I was nearing the end of my 1 year contract I began to feel this pull.  It felt like Spirit was challenging me to be more expansive in my own right.  As I would go through my day, I would have visions about what I wanted to do, but Spirit would not let me ignore the thoughts.  I kept hearing ‘you can do that’.  I was open and I listened.   (more…)
